C.U.B.B. - Modular

When it comes to barbells, two things matter to me: the build quality and how it feels to use. #1 — The manufacturing is a grade above what I’ve come to expect from even premium home gym equipment (made in America and Sweden), making this a truly “‘Crème de la gym” kind of barbell. #2 — Build quality aside, it’s been well thought out in terms of handle spacing and also versatility. You can do a lot with it, even pushups. The lifts feel great, especially the overhead Arnold Press, which is what brought me to this bar. I’ve looked, and there’s no better bar out there for that shoulder building movement. The combination of swiveling handles, resistance, the handle spacing, and the center spacing which allows your head to not get in the way is perfect for that lift.

The CUBB is interesting. The pros and cons (to me) Cons: •even without weight its atleast 45lbs. •The rotation is not as smooth or gliding as i would expect. Although smooth, I was thinking it would spin like a wheel if i flung it. •theres plenty of resistance in the rotation without any bands on. •since the bar is so heavy it has its own resistance in the rotation of the handles. •very expensive •Connection points are a little difficult to change out when you start off if you need to do a lot lf different exercises Pros: •Very comfortable to hold at all angles •bands make a good addition. •very versatile •very heavy duty and robust. •lat attachment is very nice •Customer service is great. Had a piece break during shipping. Sent an email, they resolved it quickly and sent out another piece. Overall i like it. I may get use to some features and faster at others. For the price point its pricey but if you need to save space or enjoy versatile, novelty gym gear its worth it.

I love it when i can put it together. It’s hard trying to connect the weight sleeves.
