VOLTRA I

So far I have loved the Voltra. It's unlocked a lot of soreness for me with generally the same dumbbell movements I had been doing, but it's so much easier to continue pushing past failure with this machine with the easy weight change ability and options for variable weight during a movement. I got a couple of Darko mounts and they work great with it so far. I would recommend anyone with a pullup bar to get the adaptive bar mount, it's incredible how secure it feels for any overhead movement - my next step is adding some sort of bar to my ceiling to allow me to use it without sitting on the ground for some movements. I can't wait for the Beta updates to roll into my machine so I can try the sled option, I think that will be a game changer for some of the training I am aiming to start doing. If anyone wants versatility and special modes for cable machines, this has been a great addition for me and has allowed me to avoid setting up hundreds of pounds and changing my rack setup I already had. It sounds expensive, but it really did end up saving me money on my setup.

I love my Voltra! As a 61 year old, it is just the the thing I needed to recharge my workouts and challenge me. Progressive overload with free weights and a functional trainer has been a challenge at my age, but being able to make small weight increases with the Voltra keeps me going!

At this point I own three and have contemplated a fourth. Even pretty much all of my machines are voltra loaded, and the one that isn't, I might be replacing with one I can. I do a little bit of barbell and dumbbell work, but then basically everything else is either voltra direct, or voltra powered.
