Otoño (Fall Roast)

Really enjoyed this coffee. I picked up the 2 lb bag of Otoño and have also tried several other coffees from Alma, and the quality has been consistently great. This one has a rich, comforting profile that feels very fitting for the season, with the toasted almond, dried fruit, and spice notes coming through nicely. One small thing I’d love to see from Alma is a little more transparency about the coffee itself — specifically the variety/cultivar and processing method, even if that information is only available on the website. For those of us who enjoy learning about specialty coffee, those details make it much easier to understand the cup and appreciate the work behind it. Overall, another very enjoyable Honduran coffee from Alma, and definitely a brand I’ll continue exploring!
