Absolutely a Winner!
My favorite is all of it. I love the caramel. I love it with the nuts and with the cookie crumbles and with the combination of the nuts and cookie crumbles. It's so creamy, yummy delicious! I plan to get this every year. Thank you Break Free candy!

Candy bars are exceptional - caramel is a not.
The candy bars were excellent. That’s the good news. The caramel was not worth the effort. We watched the video, followed the directions to the letter. We got the caramel to the perfect state, coated the apples but that’s where the fun ended. I should also say that getting the caramel to the right state took 45 minutes at “very low heat” not 14 minutes. We refrigerated the apples after coating, per the instructions, took them out ahead of time to eat but they were still impossible to consume. The caramel apples probably need to sit out at least two hours before you can cut/eat them. Otherwise, when you cut the apple, the caramel just falls off. Biting it off is impossible - if you like your teeth intact. This is a very chewy, dense caramel and if you like to chew your caramel for days; you’ll love this. The flavor is caramel-like in flavor but nothing like traditional. I would buy their candy bars in a heartbeat but this project was not fun or tasty. We will be tossing the remaining apples. We could remove the coating from the apples but after removing the (apple) wax with hot water blanching; the apples taste weird. Overall, not a great experience.
