To be fair, I’m just a few rides in, but so far I’m very impressed. Disclosure, I always ridden flats so clip-in fans may have a different experience but using my whole foot instead of staying basically on the balls of the feet is a game changer. More power per stroke, more stability and has improved my cornering confidence. And, so far, it seems to have elevated some of the stress on my reconstructed knee. Maybe that’s in my head - maybe it’s real, time will tell. It does take some getting used to - they are significantly bigger but so far, not an issue with catching any rock or root that I wouldn’t have hit with my old pedals. That’s on me!
