Perfect Morning Cup

After drinking 15lbs, I can say this is a perfect morning cup. My wife and I use a Moccamaster exclusively for morning coffee. We find that coffees that are slightly on the lighter side of a medium roast, brews the best using the Moccamaster. We’re not looking for in your face flavour for a morning coffee, but more mellow, with a subtle hint of flavour or interest. Strawberry Fields didn’t disappoint.

A wonderful taste of strawberry cream-filled chocolate. The scent is medium, not overly strong but very distinct. The beans themselves were quite dry and it was exhausting to grind them with a manual burr grinder - no glossy oil to them at all, which left them with an almost shrivelled appearance. I'd give it a 3.5 as the coffee itself was delicious as an occasional treat, rather than my daily drink.

Great refreshing flavor. Very different from other Indonesian beans I've tried before. Loving it!
