I’ve been riding scooters as my only form of transportation for 6 years. I’ve owned 7 scooters (one was the original Apollo Explore 2021). None of them have been what I needed - until now. I am lucky in that there are 500 miles of paved bike trails in my area and another 1000+ miles of unpaved trails. I can go anywhere I need to via scooter. The Explore 2.0 2025 is almost perfect for my needs. I don’t need anything fast bc the posted speed on the trails is 15mph.
This scooter offers an IP rating of 6/6 (extremely important as it allows me to get to work on rainy days, it has excellent regen brakes and a drum brake - which means not a ton of maintenance.
The frame is SOLID. It has manual cruise control - just hold a button. I can set the lowest gear to 15mph - this getting as much distance as possible at the allowed speed. It has flat proof tires ( for those who’ve never tried replacing a scooter tire, trust me - it’s a great feature especially if you’re trying to replace a solid tire).
The app is really useful and not just for show, it makes it simple to adjust the P-settings.
Now, I’ve only had it for a couple weeks, and I only have 100 miles on it, but I think it’s going to hold up bc the quality shows through.
It would be perfect if I could go 50 miles at 15mph - I don’t need speed but I do need distance as I ride as a necessity (sometimes fun, but mostly I need to go get something or run an errand, go to the Dr, etc).
I’m hoping the maintenance, like replacing the tires when the time comes, is an easy process - time will tell. For now, it sits as the best scooter I’ve owned. I loved my Emove cruiser but screws started falling out early, one cel of the battery went out, etc and I’ve had similar problems with all the others I’ve owned which include Macwheel Pro, Vsett 8 and 9+, Emove touring, fluid freeride Horizon (great but the solid wheel was a disaster), and inmotion.
So, while I’m not an expert, I’m familiar enough to know that Apollo is now leading the pack by leaps and bounds.

I absolutely love this electric scooter. I'm thinking about selling my vehicle and just ride this everywhere I Go. Customer service is always quick to respond and help. The suspension, acceleration and regen braking is all extremely smooth! I've had this scooter now for about a week and have ridden over a 100 miles. If I get enough money I would love to get a second scooter of theirs!!
