Although I absolutely love all my Ember mugs, I must say I was disappointed when I received this new one and the base is plastic instead of heavy metal like my older ones. Same prices, cheaper materials.

It was a gift for my adult daughter. She loves it! Wish I had known the new model would come out a week after I purchased it as I would have preferred different color.

I absolutely love my Ember mug. My first Ember mug lasted approximately 4-5 years, and aside from replacing the pad twice the mug itself works perfectly. I bought a lid to go with my new mug. Hopefully the battery will last even longer this time. I highly recommend this mug.
