loving this rod. Put it through its paces the day it arrived. Sensitive enough that i only missed one touch and responsive as my Sage and my Epic. I am very happy with this purchase, highly recommend!

8’ 4” 4wt

In a word: elegant. A joy to cast and the most accurate rod I’ve used with a dry fly. Roll casts like a dream. I chose to pair with SA creek trout 4wt line. Slower action but has a good backbone and, despite the world seeming to move toward faster action rods, a rod like this deserves a look regardless of the action you prefer. Something about a well-done slower action rod is just more dreamy and old world, I guess. Excels with a dry fly but also great on daisy chained wets. Use an Avantt II 5 wt if you want to splash streamers for trout. This is my third T&T. They treat you like a client and pick up the phone whenever you call to talk rods and fishing, which means something nowadays..
