Heel Cup bites into my ankle when walking long distances

Dark Horse boots are very light and comfortable at first. They are super easy to get on and off due to the BOA lacing system and wide opening. I'm a River Walker on the Douglaston Salmon Run in upstate New York. I walk between 4 and 5 miles in my wading gear every shift. Unfortunately, the way these boots are designed, the plastic exterior heal cup bites into my right ankle as the boot flexes when walking. I'll save these for days when I'll be fishing out of a drift boat but I'm a little disappointed I can't wear these on the job.

This is my second pair. I had forgotten how much more secure I feel when wearing the felt soles on water with a slippery bottom.

WOW where has these been my life,trail I was sliding down few feet walking was easy and didn't slip. But figure as much as I spent more too get the better one I would have gotten the special tool to change sole's. But best I have ever had.
