Ordination Credential

I was led to believe I’d registered correctly until I brought their marriage certificate to clergy. By the grace of who knows, they ARE technically married but I somehow did not get ordained correctly. Today I had to go to several different places in my city to finally be patiently told I need to contact th le state and get the one day ordination after all. So I went home and tried doing it online and am told this had to be done before the ceremony. What the heck.
