Chromatic Case

Nice quality; minor grumbles

I have a Midnight Chromatic with sapphire-hardness screen. I'm not too worried about the thing being damaged. However, I did purchase it to last me a while, and I was already impressed with the quality of every other ModRetro product I had bought to date. The case is obviously built tough, is obviously going to protect the product well. The interior has a little nest where you can plant a spare GBC cart, and the nest has a magnet-"locked" flap to cover it. Thus, you can store up to two games on the go with this case -- one in the Chromatic's cartridge slot, the other in the nest. Solid product. Five stars. I just wish that (a) there were a flat plastic surface somewhere on the exterior so that I could append stickers, and (b) the magnetic flap were stronger. I want to put a little Bundeswehr Prussian cross on my case, and I've had a few instances where the cartridge in the nest came flopping out from its own weight.

Great fitting and solid case

This case has a great feel and good size, it's slim, but with room for one extra game in a dedicated spot so you can have two games with you when you take your Chromatic with you. The little yellow Chromatic charm is a fun touch as well! Overall, the best case (shocker!) you can get for your Chromatic, unless you need a third party case that can hold a bunch of cartridges, with the tradeoff that such a case would take up far more room.

Quality snug case!

It’s a lovely case that fits round the chromatic very snuggly with soft interior and hard outer case. Coke with compartment to store another game too. I love it! Highly recommended!
