Expanding Outfeed Table

If it all works out I will be more than happy with it. Not able to build it yet as I am in the US for three months and will get it started late December when back in the U.K.

I was excited to finally have a cut plan. I plugged in my own numbers then still had to do a lot of tweaking. Not because the plans were awful, but I wanted something a little smaller. So instead of 11" in the back, mine is 7". (I have a small workshop.) I built the bottom to verify the size, my saw fit well. It is a Dewalt 4791. However, I still had to tweak the fence opening now that the saw was on the shelf. Also the mounting holes for my saw in the front are not accessible unless you screw/bolt from inside. Then I decided to reinforce the shelf to make it really strong by adding 45 degree cross pieces in the corners. When I went to put on a dado blade I couldn't because the left side 2x4s were blocking the lever. So I had to saw over an inch off for 6". Then I realized that with the left extension piece on I wouldn't have enough leverage to pull out the lever to release the knife to use the dado. So I jimmy-rigged a cord to pull. Then I decided to add a 2x4 on the bottom for feet so that I could utilize the electric outlet in the middle of the floor. In that case I ordered removable castors (they are awesome). The saw came on and off the stand at least 6 times to measure and get it all correct. I opted not to put the right side extension on, maybe another day if I decide that I need it. SO... thank-you for the plans, I'm very satisfied with the end result. Even if I messed up a few places.

It came out pretty good, my dewalt table saw fit perfectly on it, i was trying to figure out how to add an infeed extension on it so i can cut larger pieces of wood with my miter guage
