Purchased a set of these in the 'short' configuration to hang sticks off of my TrophyLine saddle. They work, but there are a few changes / recommendations. I'd say for sticks probably just opt for the long cord. Also the cord lock that comes with it is kinda weak. When I would loop around the versa button of my stick and pull the lock tight, it would just come undone with the weight of the stick. While climbing that's a no go as you could easily drop a stick. What I did to remedy this is I had some larger heavy duty cord locks layout around so I removed the old one and untied the knot. I keep the lock ABOVE the stick so that way gravity doesn't pull it open. Overall good design but I think the long option is the way to go and there needs to be a stronger way to secure items.

I’ve yet to use them in the field, but trying them out in the garage, they stow out of the way nicely and don’t stick out on the saddle.
