Dust/ dirt will get packed in the grease of the screw
I haven’t found a good place to mount the scissors jack with this mount. The heavy grease on the screw (that’s a good thing) would get loaded with dirt out in the open. It does fit perfectly against the fire wall -vertically-behind the passenger seat in my Pro XP - wrapped in plastic
If you had a bag just the size and shape of the jack that would be the best

This mount is perfect for my scissor jack to me mounted on my Molle panel for my VW Vanagon. The only item I wish it had that if there was a locking mechanism so nobody can take it when. I’m away from my vehicle.

I got this to hold my scissor jack to the inside of my side by side. It works perfectly and holds it very tight and no rattle. I received it very quickly with no problems on delivery.
