Vams is Rauma's bulky yarn, made from Norwegian wool, carded and spun to make a lofty yarn that traps warm air. Soft and lightweight, this is a yarn that is perfect for beginners. Despite being lightly spun, because Rauma use wool from adult fleece with a longer staple than lambswool it reduces pilling on finished garments.

Been dying to use this yarn and it dosen't disapoint.
It's absolutely beautiful to look at and work with.
Can't wait to pick out other colours for sweaters and cardigans.

The yarn is excellent & is knitting up beautifully. I can’t comment on its washability as I’m still knitting the jumper! Very pleased with it so far & a good price.
