Setting up a gravity filter usually means tying a knot in cold or dark conditions, then untying it the next morning. The Hang System gets rid of the knot. A PA12 cleat clamps onto 1 yard of 1.8 mm reflective nylon cord: loop the cord around a branch, feed the tag end through the cleat, and the line locks under load. One hand, no knots. De

Bought this to go with a Sawyer Squeeze and a 3L Vecto. The math is simple: a PA12 cleat on a yard of 1.8mm reflective cord, under 10g total, versus a trucker’s hitch I have to redo every time the bag drains and the line goes slack. The cleat wins. Adjusting hang height mid-fill is a one-handed pull, which matters when the branch you found is 6 inches too high. Rated around 45 lb, so a full 3L bag is not close to the limit. Only note: a yard is enough for most branches but not generous, so pick your tree accordingly.
