V2 jacket
I haven't tried it yet but the quality looks and feels excellent, a decent cut with plenty room. After courier issues I contacted highlander and they sent another one out with no problems, this company has excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend them .

Munro V2
Received my Munro early in the week after initially ordering a wrong size. I wore it at the weekend. Feels quality and I have confidence it will do what is expected. However I am a bit gutted as my work colleague ordered his yesterday (Sunday) after I told him about it and he ended up getting it £30 cheaper than me! So not impressed by that tbh.

Hiking in the rain in Nangma Valley, Pakistan
First of all, the look: the Munro V2 is really smart in matt black. It is sleek and well fitting, with sufficient space for a fleece and underlayers. In fact, it is so attractive that my son who turns up his nose at most apparel wants one too! We had spent the night camping at Nangma Valley at an altitude of nearly 4000 metres. The jacket was fully windproof against the stiff breeze blowing from the glaciers at both ends of the valley. Descending the next morning, we were treated to a substantial downpour. Not a drop got through the jacket so I can vouch for its waterproofing. Moreover, having the underarm vents open meant that there was not stuffiness or condensation building up under that jacket. Finally, it is really easy to pack it in your baggage for travel. I had it flat in my suitcase and then in my rucksack. It takes up little space. I love this jacket and will be purchasing two more for my sons to take trekking in the autumn.
