Glam enough for a wedding
I bought this in black for a wedding I planned to attend at 21 weeks pregnant. The shimmery fabric feels appropriately 'glam' for a wedding or a gala. I'm 5'4" and it fit perfectly with a pair of low (1 inch) heels. The tie goes a long way to making this 'ooh she's pregnant!' rather than 'that's a baggy fit.'
It turns out I can't attend the wedding, but I may keep it anyways for a few dinner parties I have to attend around 30 weeks pregnant. Based on how stretchy it is, I think it will fit then as well.
I'm not sure if I'll keep it though, only because the bathroom logistics seem complicated. It's a zipper back that goes all the way up, and it takes some contorting to unzip myself. There's also a clip, which I'd never use because then how in the world would I get out of it without help?? I'm not sure I can be bothered with all that effort when I'm 30 weeks pregnant and peeing every hour.
