I have had this style of IPad cover for years. I love the versatility of switching easily from portrait orientation to landscape orientation. The grooves hold the device upright securely without slipping. I love the strap that keeps the cover closed. I even tuck my glasses under it to keep them secure with the IPad. The stretchy strap is soft, so I don’t worry about scratching my glasses. I like this cover better than my old one as it is not as bulky.

I have a Gen 3 12.9”. The case fits well and was easy to install. Very lightweight which I like, but a little on the stiff side when folding it to a fully open position. This will likely loosen up with time. Overall I am pleased with the purchase, but were I not in a remote location, I might shop around and try other options in-store before buying again.

I like the fact that you can use it vertically and horizontally. My wife just bought a different brand and didn't notice it only works horizontally. The color of the leather (brown) is very nice and will last probably longer than my ipad.
