Excellent Value for Money – With a Small Capacity Caveat

For the price, the build quality and overall design are excellent. The backpack feels well-made, looks great, and offers practical organization. One thing to keep in mind: depending on what and how you pack, you shouldn’t expect to get the full 22L of usable space. The compartments and layout can limit the actual capacity a bit. Still, an excellent backpack for the money and absolutely worth 5 stars. Highly recommended!

Upgrade Done Right

I used the Essential Pack 16L over the summer as my everyday carry while studying abroad. It was a great bag: it did what I needed it to, was light enough to pack in a suitcase, and looked good, too. I wish they had made a bag with the same simple design, just a bit larger, for when I go back to school in the fall. Usher in the announcement of their rebrand to the Essential Backpack, and they added a Pro option? Couldn't have been happier. Smart bag, smart design, and the integrated side pockets really do it. I use this every day going to and from class and work, and it does just what it's supposed to. 100/10 stars!

love it !

I upgrade from the 16L to the 22L and I like them both but the 22L is more confortable. Love the bigger pocket on the top and the separate laptop access.
