DLE Series

I have been using it a ton in the last two weeks Pre fishing and in a BFL tournament on the Mississippi River. I have it set up for swim jigs / Football jigs. I paired the rod with an Abu Garcia Revo X VoltIQ Reel. I really like how firm rod is, that part is great. One thing that drives me nut is placement of the hook keep right above the reel where you would stow your lure when you are not using the rod. I am going to have to put electrical tap over the hook keeper because my line is constantly getting caught in that hook keeper all the time and that is frustrating. The rod seems to perform well and is sensitive, I have never had a rod with the plastic handle, still getting used to it, it makes my hands a little sore after using the pole for an hour but I am sure in time I will get used to it.

The DLE line offers the best of all characteristics in that they are amazingly light, tremendous handle design and also have backbone when and where you need it! I’m VERY impressed!

The look and quality of the rod is great! Beautiful rod really! I didnt care for the handle as it get a little slippery when wet and the balance of this rod is not very good IMO. It feels tip heavy in hand and very off balance for tip high applications like worms and jigs. I'll probably put in the corner of the shop. If I have to concentrate on holding on to it so it doesnt slip out of my hand on hook set and I also have to work to keep the rod tip up all day then its not going to get much use or in this case no use.
