I opted for the Velcro modle because I didnt like the idea of it being behind the PVC but I also didn't like the velcro on my phone. So I used the velcro on a magnetic ring and my phone has a magsafe case. I also use i retractable Keychain for added security incase the phone comes loose. I haven't had any issues with the magnets yet. Love the little pocket and the ability to decorate with patches.

Good quality and works well. I have tried to make a similar thing using runners arm band phone carrier with extended strap but it really did not work. This new PPG on is exactly right- great job!

The velcro flight deck arrived in quick time.
The quality is very good and I can see this lasting probably a lifetime, made of strong materials with tough click buckles.
I chose the velcro over the PVC covered one because its easier to detach my phone when flying and shoot some photos and videos.
I've also ordered the phone lanyard recently to complement the flight deck and keep my phone safe.
Thank you PPG Smoke.
