It arrives in a comical state, flat as a pancake! When taken out of the package it expands to 10x its size. It's overstuffed but the great thing about this pillow is the ability to adjust as you like. I immediately took 3 large ziplock bags full of the shredded foam out. Still looking for just the perfect amount but I love how the foam feels when sleeping on it. Great for side sleeping.

I LOVE THIS PILLOW !!! It feels great and it is neat to be able to take out some of the foam !!!! I did not have to add any - ( you do have that option - I actually took out some to make it fit me best ) I love it !!!
