Boot Socks

Great socks, but the order took two weeks to get delivered. Not sure if that is usual, but international orders arrived before this one. Am very pleased with the socks though and highly recommend.

I'm loving the boot socks. I adore how they nearly come up to my knees and their silky texture. I have yet to try them on an overnight tramp but I will keep you posted!!

I just returned from a 10 day elk hunt here in Colorado, the first two days I wore my old trusty wool socks and after about 6 to 8 miles of climbing and walking off trail, I was getting hot spots under my toes and the ball of my foot. The third day I put on a pair of my new Alpaca socks, in two days I put on over 27 miles off trail and never once had a hot spot. my feet stayed dry and comfortable all day, when I removed my boots before bed, they were showing areas of moisture but my foot was dry. My boots are 400 grams of thinsulate insulation and they seemed to be drier also. The weather conditions were night time lows low 30's to mid 30's with occasional rain storms, daytime highs mid 60's and occasional rain storms. I've already ordered more socks!! lol
