The mini controller keypad is a fun addition to the sidephone tile collection; however, it's not very usable out of the box and will require a tinkerer's touch utilizing Keymapper if you want to use this tile to navigate the phone itself. One improvement that would really excite me to see is an actual D-pad rather than the current 4-button solution. Regarding the action buttons (ABXY), I would love the ability to switch the button order so it can be set to both Nintendo and Xbox layouts. Adding a domed top to those buttons might also make them more comfortable to use.

I really like it a lot. Despite not having an SD card slot, the Sidephone is surprisingly capable at emulation, able to do up to PSP as long as the game doesn't need sticks, and you can put touch buttons on screen for the missing parts. My only gripe would he to say maybe one additional function button would've helped, but the Sidephone works extremely well with that Keymapper app in the provided recommended apps from F-Droid. You can set up all the contextually needed buttons for outside of gaming and it helps with navigating. All in all adds up for a VERY slim in the pocket, pop in and out of game emulation experience with a surprisingly good battery, after the initial setting up.
