Hapstone RS Black Knife Sharpener

What's there not to love with this sharpening system? It's simple to use and everything that goes in the vise comes out razor sharp 👌🏼.

I will just say that it was well worth the investment, and it will last a lifetime or two for sure. Really easy to use, I was able to get a sharp knive on the first try, and by the 5th knife I felt pretty confident in my process. I am using the diamond premium set, and they are good stones.

I have historically done freehand sparpening with diamond abrasives, but I wanted to try a fixed angle system and treated myself to the hapstone rs. Wow! I am impressed with the quality and density of the base and the overly thick frame, while still looking good and maintaining a minimalist feel. You can achieve an incredible edge in minutes with very little skill. Of course, freehand is still faster with fewer moving parts if that is a factor, but I love using the Hapstone RS. It is just as fun and therapeutic and the results beat what i can do by hand by far.
