Simple Satchel

I like the design, leather quality and tanning, and workmanship. For my use as a book bag, it would have been helpful to be slightly larger, but that I was aware of the dimensions. A helpful design addition would be a padded or wider shoulder strap. All in all, I do love the satchel.

Fuchsia Simple Satchel: A great bag but not a pink one

I love this bag for the quality and utility but must say I was disappointed when it arrived and was a muted red rather than the vibrant fuchsia seen in the photos on the website. I knew going into it that the leather dyeing process means each bag will look unique unto itself but I figured it would still be some shade of pink, and that's just not the case for the bag I received, which sucks when I spent a long time searching for a bright pink leather satchel like it looks like it will be from the photos. My hair is a vibrant deep magenta/fuchsia pink and I wanted to find a bag to match it and was willing to pay a good amount for a quality pink every-day work bag :( :( As far as it goes as a daily satchel, it is very functional. After a few months of consistent use I have found the suede inside of the bag has begun to shed so there are little red bits of red leather all over the things I put in there, which isn't ideal, but I'm hoping it stops eventually. I also do agree with what everyone has said about the limited pockets inside and no inside zippers leading to the need for additional pouches/organizers unless you want your bag to be a jumbled array of everything you own that you have to dig through for the things you want. The tldr here is that it does what I need it to on a daily basis and is well made but I'm very sad about the color. I'm considering buying some leather dye that is more pink to see if I can get it looking closer to the photos but if that doesn't work I may have to give mine to a friend and initiate a search for a bag that's actually pink :/
