Well designed product with high quality components (e.g Harken ball bearing pulleys). Good, clear directions. The 4:1 system had a some lines crossing, but it still worked fine and was easy enough to re-reeve.

Works exactly how you would expect a block and tackle system would. High quality ropes and hardware. Works as advertised, easy to use. No complaint with the actual product. Instructions could use some improvement and updating. Some homes are constructed now with 24" joist spacing. If you have joists that are spaced like this, you may end up cutting your 2x6s too short because the directions specify 6' boards, you cannot fit 4 lag screws into a 6' board when your joists are spaced 24". Hopefully, only having 3 lag screws in each 2x6 will not cause catastrophic system failure, oh well, I need a new car anyways if it does fall! In hindsight, installation was significantly easier than the instruction manual made it out to be. Some videos on the site going over the installation would be great, luckily other brands have them out there.
