Slow cooking makes it tender and juicy. Brown both sides first, add your flavoring and slow cook, covering it with water for about 3 hours. I add potatoes, carrots and onions about 45 minutes before done. Drain water, make gravy with it.

Excellent quality & taste. Good to know we aren’t eating meat with hormones & red dye chemicals. The kind of beef I use to eat on my Grandparents’ farm so many years ago. Thank you.

The flavor of these chuck roasts have unfortunately spoiled me. They are so good that I have a hard time buying roasts from any other source. I can use my stovetop pressure cooker and it is done in about 90 min. The broth from the roast then makes a wonderful gravy.
