Cool gadget.
I wanted to get into Meshcore and I specifically got the Ranger the after calling Spec 5.
It has plenty of features that are useful.
At the moment the only downside actually has nothing to do with the device itself. The downside is that the area I live in currently doesn't have much of a Mesh community. In turn I am in a bit of a geographic anomalist zone of being an hour or more in any direction but West to tap into any real Mesh community or infrastructure.

Nice MeshCore device, and works well straight out of the box.

OK Device
Had an issue with the first unit I was sent, Customer Service was very helpful. Now with that being said, I'm not too impressed with the product. While I was waiting for my damaged unit to be replaced, I purchased a Lilygo T-Deck Plus. The screen on that unit is much sharper! It was also like half the price. I think for what you pay, the Ranger should at least have the T-Deck Plus inside, but this is just the T-Deck. You are basically paying for the fancy case, which is nice quality, but not double the price nice. The only upside is that it has a 4000mAh battery.
