Mod Shop Stratocaster®

One of the best playing guitars I’ve ever owned and I’ve had over 300 guitars. Great job guys.

The Verdict The only minor critique of the Mod Shop path is that it remains a platform of "mass customization"—meaning it uses the same modern 2-point zinc-block hardware and standard production tolerances found on the American Professional line. However, as a structural foundation for a dream build, it is flawless. The wood combination alone makes it a unique, hyper-responsive machine. For a discerning player or a master tech looking to deploy targeted boutique hardware overhauls, this Mod Shop build isn't just a great guitar—it is the ultimate blueprint.

The guitar is perfect! The wait time was more than 30 days, but Fender shipped it Next Day, which is much appreciated!
