DA FET 47

You can never have too many mics!

I have been pushing Record since the mid 70s, have owned and used some amazing mics over the years. So far have used DA FET 47 on acoustic guitar, a few fender amps and vocals, with stellar results. One of my clients likes the FET 47 on his vocals more than a 60s era AKG C24. Always good to have another color in the mic locker. Thank you, vintage sound without the heartbreak of a studio staple visiting the hospital for a few months.

Mic’d bass cab and reso head on Yamaha Recording Custom BD. Performed exceptionally well on both. Love the low end and warmth of this mic, and can’t wait to use it again, as it has def made it into final rotation.
