The Mini-Maglock hood fits directly onto a baseplate or any mini-maglock filter. You can install this hood in front of or behind a filter depending on your preferences. The Hood includes an aluminum defender to seal off your camera system when not shooting.

Well machined, great tiny tolerances. It allows mounting in front and behind filters. If mounted on a rotating filter, it rotating with it which takes some getting used to, but allows for a larger area to grip with gloves in winter!

The biggest issue with most magnetic filter systems is how you incorporate a good. This hood solves those issues. Definitely worth buying.

I truly wish they had one of these for the helix filters as well. This is a great idea.
