Backyard Beast 1200

Great smoker

Have run a Traeger the past 20 years and decided to see what else was out there. This thing IS a beast. Components are heavier than the old traeger and the whole unit just seems better built. Holds heat almost spot on. Pellet hopper plenty big enough for several cooks. Second shelf a big plus. I’ve run pork, chicken and beef cooks and all turned out as good or better than traeger cooks.

Awesome Smoker Backed by Outstanding Customer Service!!

I’ve been extremely happy with my Backyard Beast 1200! The smoker is very well built, easy to use, holds temperature great, and has made it easy for me to get started with pellet smoking. Everything I’ve cooked on it so far has turned out great. What really impressed me, though, was recteq’s customer service. My grill arrived with a damaged/scuffed leg and a scratch on the barrel from shipping. I contacted customer care, and Coco Key took care of the situation without giving me the runaround. They replaced the damaged leg and gave me a credit for the cosmetic damage to the barrel. They were responsive, professional, and genuinely seemed to care that I was happy with my purchase. A great product is important, but knowing the company stands behind it makes a huge difference. Between the quality of the Backyard Beast 1200 and the way recteq treated me after the sale, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Definitely a 5-star experience!

3 ReqTeqs!

When you find something that works this well, you stick with it. Just bought my third recteq grill, and the quality and performance are as top-tier as ever. Holds temp like an absolute tank and delivers incredible flavor. Five stars without hesitation!
