I have been looking for strong nylon tipped sticks for a while and now I have them Woodies are the best I have found. They are string and very comfortable, for me. The durability is great and good balance.
THANK YOU WOODIES

Wow, I've always been a Vicfirth guy. played the 7A nylons and the Steve Gadd editions for years and was always pretty satisfied. I'm a tall drummer, so I sit a little further from the kit, saw these were slightly longer and figured I'd give them a shot. I'm blown away! These are the real deal. At first I thought they felt a little heavy in hand, closer to a 5A, but the more I play with them the more they feel like what a 7A should. The little extra length has really done it for me and the balance of the sticks is legit. If you're on the fence about these sticks, jump on board. This is the new standard for me.

I am still getting used to them. The length and weight are much different from what I'm used to in a 7AN. But i am digging them. I have had them for three gigs, and I really like the length; it lets me lay back a bit and still make my reaches.
Give 'em a try; you will like them.
After the first gig, the tips came off two sticks.
