Much thicker sole than any other zero shoe I've ever worn. you do lose quite a bit of that signature ground feel as opposed to say the prio. Flexibility is still good, though I do find the area around the ankle to be a bit restrictive. I havent noticed any uncomfortable sweat build up with them being waterproof during my extended trail walks or everyday walking commutes. Overall a great boot, makes me want to try out their other boots too.

Soles of these boots lasted approximately 3 months, no chance these last 5000 miles. The warranty is effectively useless since the warranty department is the final decision on what type of solution is provided.
The shoes are as bad as the warranty and the tactics used by Xero with customers.
Having to pay another $100 for nondurable hiking boots is crazy.

This isn't a long-term review but initial impressions are very good. They're light and comfortable but I would definitely buy the insert for the shoe. I decided to buy a set just to be sure and I'm glad I did. The inserts fit perfectly and add a bit more comfort. If they start falling apart I'll update but they do feel very well built.
