Fenix E08R UE Flat Flashlight

One of many great lights

I have several Fenix lights from small flashlights, tactical lights, pistol lights and headlamps. This is my first light of this style of any brand. It won’t be my last. I love the size and shape. The many different features are great and make the light very versatile. I will buy more of these. The brightness levels, durability and dependability are what sets Fenix apart from other brands. Not to mention price. I hope they don’t start charging us what these lights are truly worth. Maybe their business model is to actually provide a superior product for a fair price. I personally own seven Fenix flashlights of various models, two models of rail mounted pistol lights and three headlamps (two different models). I’ve never had a Fenix lights fail in any way. To be honest, I’m not crazy about one of the headlamps, but in all fairness, I bought it with features that aren’t suitable for my intended purpose. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad light. It’s on me for not researching enough. I would bet if you’ve heard anything negative about a Fenix light, it comes from someone that hasn’t learned all the features and how to use each feature of their light. Fenix lights aren’t difficult to use, but you do have to learn them. Options like lock out mode is a great feature, but only if you know how to use it. I don’t work for Fenix and they don’t give me anything. I praise them because they have earned it. By the way, I am someone that absolutely depends on having good lights in various situations and environments. I wish Fenix had been around 30 years ago.

E08R UE light

I’m really enjoying this light the only thing that I would recommend is to add a UV light to the platform it should already have on for what it cost
