Everything I hoped it would be

I'm very happy with my Poseidon X Gen 3 frame. The frame and fork (size XXL) weighed only 5.3 lbs. The welds are nicely finished with the exception of the bottom bracket. Paint work is flawless. The internal cable routing is super easy due to the large cutout at in the bottom bracket shell and the fully enclosed cable run through the front fork. I set it up with flat bars using mountain bike components. There's plenty of room in the rear triangle for an Avid BB7 caliper using a post to flat mount adapter. The frame is set up for a front derailleur should you chose to run it that way. It fits 45mm Specialized Pathfinder tires mounted on DT Swiss GR500 rims (26mm width), although clearance in the rear is tight. I'm 6'2" with a 36.5" inseam and the XXL fits me perfectly. I'm looking forward to many happy miles and adventures on this bike. It's a keeper.

I got this frame to build up for a friend. It is still in the process of being built up, so it has not yet been ridden.
