Shower head and filter

I’ve been loving my shower head, except I ordered the black and the paint is chipping off and it doesn’t look as good anymore, I used to love the aesthetic of my shower but now it looks a bit scraggly. There’s also a lot of calcium/mineral buildup on it but that’s probably because I chose black too, hoping it still filters. I like the size and water pressure of it though! Wish I would’ve just gotten the silver.
