This stick is not bad at all, it's just not for me. That said, I WILL be using it to give it a complete shakedown cruise. At firt blush, the balance is front-heavy with a whip feel. So, the balance is way off what I'm used to with all the HotRod variations. The wooden dowels of the HotRods give stick-like feedback. But the Pew-Pew Rods don't, since they're made of bendy plastic. The included rubber bands allow some control over the tightness of the rods, but its still nowhere close to the slick-like response of the hotrods. All that said, I'm still not done experimenting.

I like the pew pew practice rods. They are a bit thicker and heavier than anticipated but they definitely give me a workout. They are also very flexible and sort of whip when playing them. It's a different feel and I'm on the fence as to whether that is a good thing or a bad thing. In any case, I like warming up with them. The weight makes for a good warm up.

These practice rods are great and I’ve enjoyed holding onto them and putting some time in whether it be on the practice pad or the table top a great addition to your line of sticks well done
