I am very impressed with the initial quality of this pack. I am a boat captain in Alaska, and I have been using this pack when I have to anchor the boat and packraft to shore. I have taken it to shore in big surf and icy fjords. I would have given it 5 stars, but there are a few things that I think could be better. The biggest issue I found are the vertical webbing for sinching it down. I found the tails of the webbing to be very long when the pack is closed and sinched tight. I was concerned with potential snagging hazards. I modified the webbing and added a buckle at the top of the pack. It now works perfectly for my applications. I also wish the zipper pockets on the waist straps were a little larger.
