LUXMAT INTERIOR KIT

It was great. It feels a little bit overpriced, but whatever I paid for it. The reason it only gets four out of five stars is because of the obvious lie of it only being a 10 to 15 minute install. Super long delivery as well. The instructions were poor. 0 information about wiring besides how to hide it.

The Luxmat lighting kit looked sleek and seamless in the videos, but that’s not how it looks in my car. The supplied plug is the older USB type, so I have to use an adapter for my car’s USB-C port. The adapter sticks out noticeably, and the power cord is far too long to hide neatly. Instead of the clean look advertised, I’m left with a bulky plug and excess cord. Also, there is no option to return the item through Shop. I regret being persuaded by the videos because the finished result looks nothing like what they show. Can’t even use it because the power sticks out so far I would bang into it if I had a drink in the drink holder.

they’re pretty nice overall. i installed them on my 2013 toyota tacoma SR5. they were not as easy to install for me as they said it would be for all vehicles. it took me 2 hours to get them installed and i still haven’t hidden all the wires yet, but it’s not very hard to do that, all you need is some good tape. the only other thing is that they kind of flash/strobe if you bump its usb connection when using the usb-c adapter it comes with, idk if it’s the same when not using the adapter, i haven’t tried that yet. Also some of the colors that i try to put on in the app don’t work, like a warm color, and some other colors just show up white instead of the actual color. overall pretty cool and they really thrive at night
