When Francois Coty created the great feminine masterpiece Chypre, there was only one oakmoss he would accept: pure and natural green Yugoslavian oakmoss. He adored it so much that he used a whopping 8% in that famous fragrance. Over the forthcoming decades all other perfumers used the same product - from Ernest Beaux with No 5 for Chanel,

Green, hay and tobacco
I'm huffing it now and I'm instantly shown hay, balsamic, and toboacco as well as the greens. I smelt real literal soil right at the start. I wish it stayed longer. This would be so nice with some added black licorice. To me it's gagging to go that way. I wouldn't use this oakmoss in candles as heated it smelt sickly. I will defo use this oakmoss in my green goddess/hot house herbal mix Im planning.I can imagine it anchoring all the herb mix, green vegetal, tomato vine, juniper etc

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Holy Grail for True Masculine Perfumery!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Holy Grail for True Masculine Perfumery "If you are tired of the flat, sterile, chemically altered oakmoss bases clogging up the modern commercial market, Fraterworks Oakmoss Green Absolute is the absolute cure. As the founder of a house built entirely on reclaiming unapologetic, refined masculinity, this material is the exact secret weapon my lab needed. It is incredibly rich, deep, and multidimensional. One drop delivers a massive, authentic blast of damp forest floor, dark mossy greenery, and a beautiful, raw leather-and-smoke undertone that synthetics simply cannot replicate. The longevity is legendary—it locks onto a laboratory test strip and radiates for weeks, acting as an unshakeable fixative anchor for heavy-hitting compositions. I highly recommend grabbing the 50% dilution in TEC if you want a seamless workflow; it makes pipetting on a high-precision scale a breeze without having to heat a solid paste. Fraterworks continues to deliver world-class, premium raw materials for creators who refuse to settle for ordinary. Absolute gold."

Oakmoss Green Absolute is a learning addition
Honestly I thought this was going to be like my absolute favorite Oakmoss 55% TEC, but it’s not the same. I bought the pure stuff instead of the diluted thinking I would save money, but it’s not an easy material to dilute, so I recommend the diluted version. As far as the smell goes for this product, it smells green like the name suggests. I’m learning how to use use it in my fragrances, and I’m sure it’ll be great. Fraterworks has always sent me the best!
