Gong, owes its name to one of its ingredients: the Dorayaki. Delicately sweet, like the small, filled cake so popular at teatime from which it takes its inspiration, its round shape is similar to that of the gong.
The gong or the sacred, ritual instrument whose sound soothes, generates harmony and leads to a state of inner peace and joy.

The One I Kept Thinking About
Gong was one of those fragrances that clicked with me almost immediately, but what really sold me was how often I found myself going back to smell it again. It has a warm, comforting quality, but there’s also something slightly unusual running through it that keeps it from feeling predictable.
That balance is what I like most about it. It’s easy to wear and genuinely pleasant, but it still has that little bit of strangeness I look for in Floraïku. It doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard to be unusual; there’s just enough of an unexpected edge to keep pulling me back.
By the end of the sample, I wasn’t really debating whether I liked it anymore. I kept thinking about it when I wasn’t wearing it, which is usually the clearest sign for me.

Great smelling scent and great customer service. Floraika Paris kept me up to speed with logistics.
