With a Pace 4 throttle replacement installed onto the bike, a good set of off road fenders/mud gaurds, a suspended seat post, and some off road 700c tires, it makes it the perfect commuting bike in or out of city.
Its a great bike for light trails aswell, but I wouldnt trust the fragility of the carbon belt to endure anything too crazy. Really its a commuter bike, so have to keep that in mind. But with that said, it can absolutely do other things, as long as you have your expectations properly set. Nothing insane.
The only things this does insanely good is what it was made to do insanely good. And thats commute, and not look like an ebike. Anything else you plan on using this for, there are probably better options for you.
But if you JUST want a stealth ebike that looks amazing, is great build quality, and gets you from point A to B quickly, while also keeping the option for some light additional fun with it, than this is the right bike for you.

Road bike replacement
As a rider of an ultralight carbon road bike, I originally bought the Soltera 3 for guests to use. After riding it every day this week, I may have to buy a second one for my guests. It rides and handles just like a road bike, but I can ride faster, travel farther, or arrive fresher. On flat ground, I can easily pedal 14 to 16 mph unassisted. In eco mode, I can go 17 to 19 mph with the same effort, and can exceed 20 mph by pedaling faster. Sport and turbo modes allow me to conquer hills or stiff headwinds. The integrated lights and turn signals are a nice bonus.

A cyclist’s e-bike!
The bike is just as advertised and hyped. It feels just like riding a road bike (not a moped) but always having a tailwind (or having younger stronger legs). It is great for commuting (which is what I got it for) and running small errands … now I get there a little faster with a little less effort. Really wouldn’t change anything about the bike (except maybe the pedals but that’s generally true for any new bike). I’m 6’1, 225 and the XL size fits me perfectly.
