Additional Cylinder

The cylinder woks as it's supposed to. Be sure to call and ask for instructions on swapping it out. It took effort to get the old part off. Using a silicone or similar lubricant made the job much easier. You'll need a pipe wrench (or vice grips) a five-gallon bucket and a hammer/mallet.

New Cylinder working great chair like new

The chair is working great with the new cylinder. I had to remove the cylinder from the chair bottom. Because the cylinder was stuck in the base I used penetrating spray and put it upside down over a 5 gallon plastic bucket and hit it with the side of a heavy hammer to get it out. The replacement was simple from there.
