Great Ergonomics
Perfect tool for chopping out roots and rocks. The tempering is perfect, strong cutting edge that does not easily chip or dent. I am 6’ so I went with the long handle version. The blade is much wider than my mattock cutter which makes it perfect for my digging needs. Forging is excellent, curve is just right for slicing through ground, and its weight really helps with powering through hard dry soil. Grain on handle was correctly oriented, perpendicular to cutting blade. Glad to see whoever is making the handles pays attention to grain orientation. I never mind paying for quality workmanship, and being made in US is a plus. Would much rather spend more if it keeps American workers employed. This tool will last generations! Keep up the good work.

Does the job like nothing else
This does what other tools cannot. Great for chopping through smaller tree roots, but also great for breaking ground when digging - easier than using a spade shovel.

made to work . Top notch quality. Not the disposable tool that you will usually find. Heavy duty so work goes faster. It will last a lifetime and then be handed down to the next generation
