Omg. Huge positive for this bag after dragging skis and family through airports for 20 years. You can stuff some pockets with ski outerwear and stiffen it up some but that is not needed. The luggage pass through strap works with the XL bag and other rollers. Turns the suitcase and skis into a stable tripod that’s super easy to pull and stop. Downside is it is harder to turn but absent AI driven wheels that steer I’ll take that. The thing I miss is having an easy grab handle on top in the middle to load and unload into vehicles. There are two tightener straps that you can reach and use but not as easy as a single big grab handle. This is more a suggestion for perfection rather than a real issue.
