Blue + Purple Shift

This is my first time dying my hair (I’ve never bleached or dyed it), and I wanted something low commitment. My hair is naturally brown and I have straight thick, hair. I dyed my entire head, and I found the application easy. Results: My hair color looks black now, but with a blue tint (which is a vibe). The blue shows up better in the sun. I am a little sad that I don’t see any purple. I still have around half of the hair dye left. Otherwise, I’m pretty happy with the results. My hair feels silky and smells nice! I’m definitely going to buy this again, and try bleaching my ends for a more vibrant color.

Love the smell, the feel of it going on to my hair, the ease of application and rinsing. Mondo products are the only ones I'm currently purchasing, because they do for my aging hair what only Olaplex does, at half the price. People with medium brown hair, here's a sidenote: this particular semipermanent color will make your brown darker, not add any purple pigment. My hair is unbleached, but going gray at the temples and around the crown. Still medium brown at the back. When I color the back of my hair (from behind the ears back and from the crown back) with Amethyst or Super Purple WOW! I get gorgeous color, especially in sunlight. This blue/purple shift darkened my hair and made it feel amazing, but didn't deposit much color. This is okay by me; it was an experiment and now I know to stick with pure purple.
